Creating a Poll from a Template

Templates are the fastest way to create a poll. Pick a curated list of movies and launch your poll in seconds.

Browsing templates

Navigate to Create from the header. Below the "New poll from scratch" option, you will see a selection of templates organized by category:

• Trending — Movies trending right now, including animated, comedy, and horror subcategories.
• Top Rated — The highest-rated movies of all time, plus comedy and horror subcategories.
• Oscars — Academy Award nominees organized by category (Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and more).

Each template shows a horizontal preview of the movies included. Trending and top rated templates are updated automatically with the latest data.

Using a template

Click Use This Template on any template. This opens the poll editor with all the template movies already added to your poll. A description may also be pre-filled depending on the template.

Customizing before launch

Once in the editor, you can customize the poll however you like before launching:

• Add or change the poll title.
• Edit the description.
• Add more movies using the search.
• Remove movies you don't want.
• Drag and drop to reorder.

When you're ready, click Launch Poll to publish. The launch settings and process are the same as creating a poll from scratch.

Free plan limits

All templates are available to free and Pro users alike. However, some templates include more than 6 movies. Free users are limited to 6 movie options per poll, so only the first 6 will be published. Upgrade to Pro to include all movies from any template.
