Movie Night Polls

Pro feature

A poll only your group can find

Private polls are unlisted — they stay out of public browse and search, so the only people who see your poll are the ones you send the link to.

Private polls are a Pro feature. Free polls are public and can appear in browse.

  • Link-only, by design

An unlisted poll never shows up in the public browse feed and isn't indexed for search. It exists only at its link — share that with your friends, your family group chat, or your book-club thread, and no one else stumbles onto it.

  • For the nights that are nobody's business

Personal movie nights, surprise-party planning, a poll you'd rather not have a stranger vote in — private mode keeps the whole thing between the people who matter. No public footprint, no random votes skewing the result.

  • Stack it with anonymous

Pair private with anonymous and the poll is both off-the-radar and off-the-record: invisible to the public and unattributed to any host. The strongest privacy combination the product offers.

FAQ

Can anyone find a private poll?
Only people with the link. Unlisted polls are excluded from public browse and aren't surfaced in search.
Can people still vote without an account?
Yes — anyone you give the link to can vote, no signup required. Private only controls discoverability, not who can vote.
What's the difference between private and anonymous?
Private hides the poll from the public; anonymous hides you, the host, from the poll. They're separate toggles you can use together.
Is this on the free plan?
No. Private (unlisted) polls are part of Pro; free polls are public.
