Poll Drafts
Save a poll before publishing it, come back to finish later, and launch when you're ready.
Saving a draft
When you create a poll from the Create page, click Save as Draft instead of publishing. Your poll is stored as a draft tied to your account — it doesn't appear in the public listing, isn't shareable via a link, and doesn't accept votes.
Finding your drafts
Drafts live alongside your other polls in My Polls. Use the status filter at the top of the page to show only drafts — the count appears in the page's stats tiles.
Editing a draft
Open a draft from My Polls to keep editing it. The full poll editor is available — title, description, movie options, and any launch settings (anonymous, unlisted, dark mode, votes per person). Save again any time to keep the draft.
Publishing a draft
When you're ready, click Publish from the draft's editor. The poll becomes live with the same ID it had as a draft — share the link, post it in chat, and votes can start coming in.
Deleting a draft
From a draft's page or from My Polls, use the delete control to remove it. Deleted drafts can't be recovered.
Drafts and chat platforms
Polls created through the Discord, Slack, or Telegram bots are published directly — there's no draft step in the chat flows. If you want to draft a poll before announcing it in your group, create it on the web as a draft, then share it into the chat once you publish.
